Attendance Surpasses Last Year’s
Event
TAMPA, Fla. – Dec. 8,
2005 – AnyDoc
Software, a leading provider of innovative
document and data capture solutions,
held its AnyDoc Connection User & Reseller
Conference from November 9-11, bringing
together attendees from across the
country to the Tampa Marriott Waterside
Hotel & Marina. The conference
drew over 25 percent more attendees
than the company’s 2004 event.
“This year’s event focused
on problem solving, so our sessions
centered around key issues many companies
face when processing paper documents,” said
Charles W. Jackson, president of AnyDoc
Software. “We also held roundtable
discussions with AnyDoc management
and our users and resellers to take
the conversation even further. As a
result, I’m confident that everyone
came away from the Connection with
information that they can use immediately.”
AnyDoc staff and technology partners
led over 40 seminars at the conference.
The sessions were divided into three
tracks to offer attendees a choice
of educational topics to help attendees
solve complex document processing situations,
and to inform them about features designed
to improve their standard document
and data capture processes. Feedback
from the event was very positive.
“The conference was the perfect
balance of education, reconnecting
with clients and colleagues, and fun,” said
Richard Gardner, president of Dominion
Computer Systems, an AnyDoc value-added
reseller based in Harrisonburg, Va.
During the User Highlights presentation
of the event, AnyDoc put the spotlight
on its customers. Clients from utility,
government and retail industries described
to attendees the benefits they’ve
experienced with AnyDoc Software solutions.
One such customer was Steve Quincel,
accounts payable supervisor for American
Electric Power of Columbus, Ohio, who
explained how AnyDoc Software helped
his organization to automate the processing
of more than 800,000 invoices a year.
This was Quincel’s first Connection
conference. “I was impressed
with the presentations and with the
AnyDoc staff. Everyone I spoke with
wanted to know how things were working
with us. It gave me a good feeling
about the company. I also got a lot
out of the Vendor Connection,” he
said.
The Vendor Connection included 34
exhibitors and allowed participants
to learn more about products offered
by AnyDoc Software’s technology
partners. Fujitsu Computer Products
of America and Stellent, Inc. participated
as gold sponsors, while Hyland Software,
Inc. and Eastman Kodak Company supported
the event as silver sponsors. Bowe
Bell & Howell, Canon USA, Computhink,
Inc., Corry Publishing, Inc., DocuWare
Corporation, Kofax, Metafile Information
Systems, Inc., OPEX Corporation, Panasonic,
Tower Software, Westbrook Technologies,
Inc. and Visioneer, Inc. were also
among the sponsors.
During the event, AnyDoc Software
previewed the next generation of their
products and solutions. The company
will announce details for the 2006
AnyDoc Connection during the first
quarter of next year.
