Growth
TAMPA, Fla. – Apr 28,
2005 –AnyDoc Software,
Inc., the leading provider of automated
document and data capture solutions,
conducted an energetic hands on,
informative, channel event on March
31 and April 1 at the MGM Grand Hotel
in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event,
targeted to current and prospective
resellers, attracted nearly 60 attendees.
The educational seminar consisted
of two training tracks; one for sales
and another for technical.
The first evening addressed potential
resellers of AnyDoc Software products
and solutions. This initial presentation
gave participants an outline of the
features and benefits in the company’s
reseller program and AnyDoc solutions.
The following day provided the training,
and it was devoted to existing resellers
and prospects alike. The sales track
focused on the features, benefits,
solutions, and markets for AnyDoc software
and provided a thorough review of the
application demonstrations given throughout
the day.
The technical track focused on the
technological advancements developed
in AnyDoc products. Both tracks were
presented with the fact that the AnyDoc
solution can truly process any document,
via one of its four processing methods
(structured, unstructured, key from
image and a hybrid method). Such advancements
included the support and interface
of TWAIN scanner drivers in OCR
for AnyDoc®, AnyDoc Software’s
premier product, and AnyDoc®CAPTUREit,
AnyDoc’s industry leading document
capture solution. Other topics included
the enhancements to the software’s
verification engine, an added Log Database
feature and the effect of bar codes
and patch codes on scanning documents.
For prospective resellers, the product
demonstrations solidified the software’s
capabilities. “The training truly
brought OCR for AnyDoc to life. It’s
one thing to conceptualize a product,
but the opportunity to actually see
this one in action truly is irreplaceable,” said
Tom Talamentez, president of Las Vegas’s
own Transform Data. “My business
partner, who understands the pain of
data entry, was amazed by what the
product can do. He told me it was like
magic!”
Current AnyDoc resellers also appreciated
the event’s agenda. Scott Bade,
vice president of sales for ImageSoft
of Southfield, Michigan, was impressed
with the information provided. “We
found the training quite beneficial.
The time spent enriched our understanding
of the latest technology, AnyApp in
particular. It’s the power behind
OCR for AnyDoc’s that provides
its ability to process unstructured
forms,” Bade said. “As
a result, we returned from the trip
